Overlooking the river that runs through the centre of this pretty and peaceful village, this was originally a cordonier's workshop. Now newly restored as a home it is light, airy and comfortable. A mixture of new and antique furnishings , a modern bathroom and hand-built kitchen provides everything you need for a relaxed stay. With a fenced garden , plenty of off road parking and a large communal park to the side of the house it has the feeling of both coziness and space. The house is on 3 floors with large open plan living spaces and big windows giving lots of natural light. Guests are free to use the whole house and garden, as well as the local walking paths and park area. Guests may contact us with reasonable enquiries during normal working hours, ie 9 - 5 Picturesque and historic, the area has countless places of interest, from the Normandy landing beaches , historcal chateaus, through visits to cider and calvados farms for sampling their produce, to gourmet dining in a whole range of restaurants and cafès. Medieval town of Domfront is a short drive away, plus many beautiful Normandy towns and villages . Public transport is very limited, you will need your own transport. All heating is electric, including a fire in the living room fireplace. Cost is included in the rental price.
