Beautiful Terrace Home with Wood Burner

Beautiful, newly decorated terrace house situated in Lofthouse, Wakefield with great access to the motorways and train station with only a 7 minute journey into Leeds. There is safe off-street parking. The guest room has been newly decorated and has a brand new orthopaedic mattress. We provide WiFi, towels, bedding, soap and shampoo etc. A selection of teas, coffee, milk and sugar will be waiting for you in the kitchen on arrival and will be topped up during your stay. Smoke free home. Newly decorated and furnished double room with storage. Free Wifi for all guests. There are several plug points in the room, and radiators are connected to central heating (if the temperature isn't right for you, just let us know). All bedding is fresh for every stay, including bath towels and ironing board/iron, etc. is also available on request. There is a basket of toiletries should you need anything during your stay. The house has recently been renovated and decorated. The living room boasts an original brick fireplace with a wood burner installed. Guests are welcome to use the kettle, toaster, microwave, and oven. The garden is a beautiful sun trap until around 3 pm. There is a bistro set perfect for dinner in the garden. There are also loungers in the shed which are there to use as you wish. The whole house can be booked out for an extra charge - please ask me how to do this. The space is very private, and we do stay out of the way as much as possible to give guests their own space, but we are there should you have any questions. We prefer guests to check in after 4 pm and check out by 10am. If your check-in/out times differ, please ask, and we will accommodate where possible. Parking is at the top of the road in our private car park or if requested in advance, directly in front of the house on our private road. Please do not park in front of neighbouring houses. Guests have access to the kitchen, including the use of the microwave, kettle, and toaster, and to use the dining table. You may use the cutlery, plates, glasses, etc. You may use the dishwasher and also store food in the fridge or freezer. The bathroom is shared with myself, but guests will take priority. There is no lock on the door, but my rule is, if the door is closed, it is in use. We will usually be there to welcome you and can give advice about local attractions, including wine bars, pubs, restaurants, cafés and shops. If you need any assistance or something doesn't meet your needs, we will try to put this right as best we can. Lofthouse is a village between the cities of Wakefield and Leeds in West Yorkshire, England . The village falls within the Ardsley and Robin Hood ward of the City of Leeds Council. It is mentioned as Locthuse also Loftose in the 1086 Domesday Book. Lofthouse has good road connections to its nearby boroughs as well as to the rest of northern England. Lofthouse Gate and Outwood are neighbouring villages on the A61 towards Wakefield and are in the Wakefield Metropolitan Area. Towards Leeds there is the village of Robin Hood. Outwood train station is just a short walk (1 minute) away providing direct routes into Leeds and Wakefield within 7-10 minutes. In addition to this, it is located very close to the M1 & M62 motorways in and out of Leeds. Manchester, York & Sheffield are all within an hours drive, or 45 minutes on the train from Leeds station. The stunning Yorkshire Dales are also less than an hours drive away. We do have 2 miniature Schnauzers called Albert & Florence. They are friendly, but I do keep them out of the way where possible. They will not be allowed in the guest room at any time (please note they will wander in if the door is open) and are non-shedding, so there no need to worry about pet hair. And they can be relocated to grandpawrents at advance notice as we understand dogs aren't for everyone! Although there is no TV in the room, guests are welcome to use the Wi-Fi and stream media content or use the living room, which has a TV, Netfix, and Amazon Movies.
