Lapwing-Beautiful safari tent in a tranquil meadow

Luxury, peace, tranquillity, space and amazing views. That's what we hope you will enjoy. We offer private space with time to chill, walk and enjoy your family or friends in complete comfort. We have two beautiful safari tents set in a grassy meadow in the middle of our farm. If you can pull yourself away from the tent we are also within easy reach of many local attractions. Our beautiful site is good for couples, families (with kids), and bigger groups. Sleeping six in a king bedroom, a double cabin bed and a twin room, the safari tent offers the excitement of camping without any of the discomfort! In the living area you have a comfortable sofa and table and chairs for six as well as a cosy wood-burning stove for heating and cooking. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes everything you will need to prepare delicious meals, including a butler's sink with running mains water and a small solar-powered fridge. There is a practically-en-suite bathroom cabin on the back platform with a shower, basin and toilet. Another wood burner heats the water and makes sure the spacious bathroom is warm. Lovely eco-toiletries are provided. To make your stay even easier, freshly cooked meals and BBQ packs can be pre-ordered from our Brocklands Farm website. Enjoy a BBQ or campfire using the fire bowl provided, play in the grassy field, swing on the rope swing or explore the woods. There is plenty for children to do while the adults relax! There are private paths round the farm for you to stroll along, easy access to the South Downs Way and other footpaths for more serious walkers and the Meon Valley Trail runs through the farm for those who like to cycle. The picturesque village of West Meon is a peaceful 25 minute walk away. Here you can visit Cuppacheeno Cafe for a coffee or light lunch, buy your groceries and fresh bread in the village shop, purchase your BBQ meat from our award-winning butcher or enjoy the ambience of the Thomas Lord pub. Dogs are welcome for a small extra charge. Buffy will be there to greet you when you arrive and introduce you to your tent. She is always a phone call away. After that enjoy the peace and tranquility of the Hampshire countryside. England's newest park, the South Downs Park, includes some of Hampshire's most beautiful downland. The views from our site and many local walks are superb. There are a variety of pretty villages with good pubs to explore and a host of other activities within easy reach. You will find a comprehensive file in the tent and a list on our website. Parking is provided on the site. Nearest train stations are Petersfield and Winchester and there is a bus service from both that runs through West Meon. We are about an hour and a half from London. You can pre-book bicycle hire from Meon Springs. Please note that our standard bookings are for a 3 night weekend or 4 night midweek. Bank Holiday weekends are from Friday to Tuesday to enable guests to use the site all day Monday. Our usual change over days are Friday and Monday. Wood and kindling are included. A starter bucket of charcoal is provided - more can be purchased from the village shop.
