Just an hour from Athens our charming traditional stone guesthouse with fire place, located in a 1000 sq m yard with swimming pool, within walking distance from Ancient Corinth's Museum, promises to make your summer or winter holidays unforgettable. (Website hidden by Airbnb) Our 100 years old -fully renovated- guesthouse is build in a Greek traditional architectural style. The interior of the house with the wood covered stone walls, along with a queen size bed, stone fireplace and a small bar gives a warm and hospitable feeling. A fully equipped kitchen , air condition, free WiFi and a bathroom, are the additional features that will make your stay comfortable. In our big green yard you will find for free, ample parking, BBQ area with wood stove, swimming pool with bar and fridge overlooking the Gulf of Corinth and many cozy places to enjoy your time and relax Our home is located in the same yard as the guesthouse but we have as much or as little interaction as the guest would like. We leave it to you to set the tone on how much interaction you would like with us. We are always available to guests for information or suggestions on restaurants or area attractions. Ancient Corinth (Archea Corinthos) is a quiet village with a great history, build at the foot of Acrocorinth with an excellent view to the Gulf of Corinth, which gives you the opportunity to admire and learn about the Ancient Greek's culture. The house is about a 10min walk from the central square where you can find taverns, food markets, souvenirs stores and the famous Ancient Corinth's Archaeological Museum. Within less than 10 minutes drive there is the fortress of Acrocorinth where you can enjoy the beautiful view. The location is also ideal for exploring Epidaurus, Mykines and Nafplio because of their one hour distance from the village. You can also visit Isthmus of Corinth or meet Loutraki’s nightlife and cazino. Either you arrive with the suburban train from Athens or the bus, which are both within 10 minutes drive,we will be there to welcome you.The village is connected by bus to the city of Corinth (20 min) and the nearest beach (10 min) -bus station in 50 meters - but a car is definitely the easiest and most convenient way to get around. You can also rent a car or use a taxi. We stay with one lovable and harmless female dog.
