Situated on the edge of the village, 10 minutes from the station and buses and a pleasant walk into the village to access all its many amenities. Three large Velux windows give light and tranquillity to this exceptionally spacious and private attic room. Newly decorated and tastefully furnished, with double bed and writing desk. Price is for 1 night for 2 people including lovely breakfast with cereal, fruit platter, local bread, croissants. Full English breakfast can be provided for a reasonable extra fee - just ask the host - and any special dietary requirements cheerfully catered for. There is a small single room also available for an extra person for £25. Bathroom is shared with owner and kitchen can be used for making hot drinks - tea and coffee etc provided. Although this home has all the benefits of being in the countryside (trickling stream, tweeting birds and Springtime baa-ing) it is extremely well located for public transport. Slaithwaite is a thriving village with a range of independent shops and cafes that is now an extremely popular visitor destination. Packed with history from its textile heritage, wonderful canalside walks and spectacular moorland nearby, Slaithwaite is known for its artisan food shops and cafes, arts and craft centre, antiques shops, a second hand book shop and good quality charity shops. There are regular trains connecting to Huddersfield (only 8 minutes away) and Leeds and Manchester (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) minutes). There's a dense network of local buses serving all the local villages and further afield (nearest bus stop only 4 minutes away) and the train station is a short walk from the house.
