There is a stone fireplace and a 5 m folding glass door opening out onto a wooden deck and private rock pool area and amazing view of the Valley of a 1000 Hills and Inanda Dam.The house was built using only the best of natural materials and you can sit on the wooden terrace with your feet in the beautiful infinity Rock pool and just enjoy the view for hours. The house has exclusive design - African meets Scandinavian design. The interior is both comfortable as well as very tasteful. Full access to the whole house. The property is within an electric fenced and private wild game estate. Entrance to the Estate is controlled and monitored by the security staff at the Gate House. You will need to check in with security. We will notify them of your arrival. As a guest you will have full access of the whole house. Michelle Grant, our property manager, works in the office at the Gate House and is available to rectify any problems that may arise. At the entrance to the Estate is the Gate House where there is 24 hour security. During office hours Michelle and Julie are available to help with passes, questions and good advice for local activities. We can of course be reached by email or Airbnb messenger. The house is overlooking the amazing Valley of a 1000 Hills, just 35 km from the Indian Ocean and Durban. The Drakensberg mountains are a mere 2,5 hours drive away and if you are lucky, on a clear winters day you can get a glimpse of the sea on one side and the mountains on the other. The house is only 7 km from Hillcrest, which has a good selection of cafes and restaurants, shops and supermarkets. Phezulu House is situated on an Eco Estate and private game park, with a range of wild life such as zebra, giraffe, impala, wildebeest and duiker as well as fantastic bird life . The Estate is managed as a Secure Estate - meaning that there is a gatekeeper to the area and high level of security. Phezulu House is owned by Allan and Nina Kenney. We live and work in Denmark together with our 2 children Alexander and Mia. Allan is originally from South Africa and as a result of this, we have always dreamed of being able to spend more time in this beautiful country close to the mountains and within reach of the sea. We love the African wild life, so when we saw The Phezulu Game Estate, we just knew we had found our own little piece of heaven in Africa. It simply has all the things we love. When you wake up in the morning and look at a zebra in your garden, you know you have landed the right place!
