Cobham central double room only/ensuite/b'fast

My charming, cosy, Victorian B&B home is on a quiet lane in central affluent, desirable Cobham, everything is "on your doorstep". Your pretty double bedroom has a high spec ensuite shower room, breakfast room with mahogany table, cottage garden and free parking. Only a 4 minute walk to the high street, designer boutiques, Waitrose, restaurants including The Ivy, River Mole and beautiful Painshill Park. Heathrow and Gatwick airports 30 minutes, trains to London 35 minutes and run half hourly. For your comfort and safety I provide sanitiser and please wear your mask just when entering my home, your room and bathroom is reserved just for you. (This is a private room in a house and I ask guests to be mindful that it is my home where they are staying). I serve breakfast and is included in your stay, any breakfast dietary requirements are welcome in advance. If you wish for a very comfortable cosy room in the most exclusive location and very high property values in Surrey, my two bedroom cottage is full of period features with modern comforts. The rooms are typical of a snug Victorian cottage and are cosy but not spacious A few minutes walk to the high street and restaurants/cafes, no worries about eating out then having to drive home! In the quiet (painted Farrow & Ball) guest bedroom where you will stay with brand new very high spec full ensuite shower room, lavatory and basin with all chrome fittings , I provide a very comfortable pocket sprung double bed with pure cotton sheets and feather duvet and pillows/silk cushions. The bath and hand towels are Egyptian cotton as is the bathrobe, the toiletries are good quality and there is a wool carpet and Persian rug. TV with Amazon (Alexa) fire stick. I have separate storage where you can place your empty suitcase if you like. I can provide for your dedicated work space in the room. The timber sash window overlooks my pretty rear cottage garden surrounded by trees and shrubs. The dining table is pure mahogany and beautiful furniture and fittings are around the house. One cosy double bedroom with private full ensuite shower room, breakfast room, south/west facing garden with table and chairs in season. The sitting room and kitchen is my private space but feel free to use the fridge for drinks or let me know what you need. You have own TV in your room. The side gate to the garden allows bicycles etc. to be stored and free street/off street car parking is guaranteed. I live at the house so can be on hand on occasions. I can also take you to the airports for a fee if you wish and if I am available, Heathrow takes about 25/30 mins drive, Gatwick is the same. Need a lift from the train station? Just ask me. As a business professional myself I understand that you want to relax in peace and quiet. Exclusive and expensive Cobham in Surrey speaks for itself, just check any property survey in the country. The High Street has many upmarket and independent eclectic retailers, restaurants including The Ivy, Coppa Club (with rooftop private igloos!) and Waitrose. The best pub for food is the Old Plough near the train station, booking essential. The Old Bear pub is walking distance on the high street opposite the river Mole, excellent food overlooking river views. On Riverhill you can relax and feed the swans or visit the preserved Cobham Mill. Beautiful Painshill Park is 10 mins walking from my house, it also a popular wedding or corporate event venue. Hampton Court Palace via Esher is also an easy drive and Thames river trips go from the bridge and Walton on Thames. The famous RHS Wisley Garden is on the A3, takes about 10 minutes to drive there, a visit is a must. Sandown Park racecourse and Brooklands Motor Museum are very local. Also there are numerous National Trust properties in the vicinity including Claremont Garden, Clandon Park, Polesden Lacy and Hatchlands. Walks include Boxhill, Leith Hill and Newlands Corner with views from the beautiful North Downs. So much to see and do and plenty of fresh air! Cobham is perfectly located. The M25 and A3 roads are easily accessed. Cobham is just off the A3 from London (Painshill Park exit) or junction 10 of the M25 from Gatwick/Heathrow. The train station Cobham & Stoke d'Abernon is a 7 minute drive away or you can use the local Chatterbus service for £2. Taxis to the train station are about £8 (Cobham Cars) or £40-50 to the airports. (or I can take/collect you if I am available). Trains to London take approx half an hour and run half hourly to Waterloo via Surbiton, Wimbledon, and Clapham Junction. Free car parking at my house.
