A cosy and comfortable countryside studio space

Our cosy and comfortable studio, 'The Yellow Door' is located in the garden of our family home. In a quiet rural location, Furners Green is situated on the edge of Sheffield Forest . Airy and spacious in the eaves above our barn style oak garage, the Studio comprises of a kingsize bed, additional single bed, well equipped kitchenette, comfortable seating area with TV and wifi, and a bathroom with shower, sink and loo and fresh towels. You can park in our driveway and share our garden. The Studio is completely self contained with private staircase access (unsuitable for limited mobility). The kitchenette comprises of a toaster, kettle, microwave and the fridge will be stocked with bread, butter, milk and jam. Salt, pepper, olive oil, tea, coffee and sugar are also provided . Soap, handwash, washing up liquid, j-cloths, tea towels and bin liners are well stocked and our local farm shop is a 5 minute stroll away. Further down the lane is an award winning vineyard offering tastings and tours and the famous Bluebell Railway and Sheffield Park Gardens are a stones throw away. Where possible I will be there to welcome you. The studio is in the garden of our home and I am very happy to help with suggestions and ideas for things to do. Keybox access if I am not around. We are situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with lovely local walks, cycling and horse riding. Other popular attractions include the Ashdown Forest, Glynebourne, historic market town of Lewes, Ardingly Showground, Wakehurst Place and some brilliant local pubs (The Griffin and The Rose in Fletching, Coach and Horses in Danehill). 15 mins from both Haywards Heath and East Grinstead station, 20 mins from Lewes and 30 mins from Brighton. Arriving by car is recommended but taxis are available from local stations too. We're in great cycling country not far from the South Downs.
