Log house Pikkukelo in Äkäslompolo, Lapland

Approx. 90m2 cottage is in a peaceful neighborhood and close to amenities and illuminated ski tracks. The cottage has completed at the beginning of year 2016. Small Äkäskelo has geothermal heating system. Equipment: Accommodation up to 8 persons, 2x bedroom, 2x toilet, loft, sauna, natural stone fireplace and heated ski maintenance room. Also fancy lighting details. Fatbikes available. There is already 40 cm snow in Ylläs and 30 km skiing tracks (4.11.2019)! Welcome to enjoy winter activities! Fatboy fatbikes available for customers without extra charge. The bikes are stored in an old brown warehouse nearby the cabin. I am reachable by mobile phone almost at any time. The house itself is built up uniquely of thick dead wood logs. It has a special Lapland atmosphere! You can get to the cabin from Kolari railway station or from Kittilä airport by a shuttle bus or by a taxi. The bus takes you to Hotel Ylläskaltio, 1 km from the accommodation, a taxi takes directly to Pieni Äkäskelo. If you have your own car the parking place with an electric pole is nearby the front door. In the front of the hotel (1 km) there is a local skibus stop, the bus can take you to the ski slopes, 5 km away.
