Dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier and fridge-freezer are all provided. Outside: with its various zones, the stunning cottage garden is perfect for pets, children and grown ups – complete with herbs to use in your cooking! A paved area with bbq, table and chairs provides a perfect spot amongst the flowers for lunch and a sunhouse at the far end of the garden provides an additional private space for a moment of calm. The cottage is situated down a private lane, where there is off-road parking for two cars. The beach: the dunes themselves are a recognised “area of outstanding beauty” and a fantastic place to walk or spot rare birds and wildlife. Just over the sand dunes lies an unspoiled sandy beach, which is a perfect for long walks, beach games and watching the resident colony of grey seals. After all that excitement, the dunes café offers a perfect place to relax with tea and a delicious slice of cake or cooling ice cream. The village: winterton-on-sea is a picturesque, ancient fishing village, with a 300 year old pub, 12th century church, fish and chip shop, post office and general store. Several nature walks begin in the village, which lead you through the surrounding countryside, which is an experience not to be missed. Within the local area you can explore the norfolk broads, by boat or by foot, the medieval city of norwich, saltmarshes, quaint seaside and market villages, rolling fens, bird sanctuaries and nature reserves.
