Cottage 7 Kirkjubær II - Sleeping bag accomodation

Please notice that you need to bring sleeping bag or blanket with you. Warm and nice cottage for those who likes to be private and feel the nature. In the cabin you find private WC but the shower and kitchen are shared in the Service House. Every cottage is suitable for 4 person in two bunk beds with pillow. The cottage are on the camp site so you are in the nature. You can sit on your balcony and watch the bright night. Kitchen for everyone is in the Service house and shared showers and WC. Laundry available. In Kirkjubæjarklaustur you find very good hiking trails, we are pleasec to tell you all about that when you arrive. The nature is all around you in this area. Lava, trees, you see the glacier Vatnajökull. You will feel the darkness og the bright nights and nature everywhere. In Kirkjubæjarklaustur you find swimmingpool, supermarket, vinestore, restaurant and gasstation. Bus 51 goes to Kirkjubæjarklaustur small village on road 1, 260 km from Reykjavík. From there you can go to Skaftafell (70 km) and Jökulsárlón (120) km. We are located in Kirkjubaejarklaustur, a village by road 1. When you come to the roundabout you take the third way out. Drive into the village and take the second right, drive up 300 m and there you find our Camp site. You have to see the beautiful Systrafoss and Kirkjugólf less than 1 km from Kirkjubær II
