Stylish barn with pool near Horsham, West Sussex

The Granary is a self-contained, cosy and private bolt-hole. There is plenty of parking and access to a walled garden and swimming pool (June to September). All amenities are provided including a breakfast hamper. There is a small kitchen with cooking facilities, fridge, kettle, toaster and coffee maker. Slinfold village has a friendly pub, shop and post office within walking distance. Westerns Farm shop is a local icon and is just around the corner. The Granary was converted in 2019, it retains all the charm and character of the original building but with the modern features and facilities expected of luxury accommodation. There is underfloor heating throughout the ground floor, fast wifi and a large smart TV. The 2 sofas in the seating area fold out into beds suitable for adults or children (please message to pre-approve extra guests. This will incur an additional charge.). The shower room on the ground floor is sleek and modern containing a deluge shower. Shower gel and shampoo/conditioner are provided. Upstairs is a large vaulted room (with some low beams), a very comfortable king size bed, chest of drawers and hanging rail. A hairdryer is provided for your convenience. Washing machine and tumble dryer are available for guests on request. We are here to help but not to intrude on your precious time away. There is a key safe for remote check-in allowing flexibility of arrival time. The nearby town of Horsham is a traditional Sussex market town with plenty to see and do from the Everyman Cinema, Capitol Theatre and buzzing restaurants and bars of East Street to the beautiful local countryside with rural pubs and cafes. The South Downs National Park is 10 minutes to the south and the stunning towns of Arundel, Petworth and Guildford are all within 30 minutes drive. The coast is a 40 minute drive away with the seaside towns of Brighton and Chichester within easy reach. Trains from Horsham run frequently to London, Portsmouth and Southampton. A car is recommended but there is a regular bus service through the village to Horsham, Guildford and Burgess Hill. Cycle storage is available and the Downs Link, a disused railway line running from Guildford to Shoreham-by-Sea is 2 minutes away. Please be aware that we aim to heat the pool between June and September. The pool temperature will vary according to the weather.
