The newly built and refurbished wooden cottage offers a spacious patio which you can use in every weather possible. Inside you will find a fully equipped kitchen. The cottage is equipped with a bathroom which contains a spacious shower area. The top floor is intended for sleeping. It is equipped with high-quality mattresses, bedding and bedlinen. There is 1 double bed 180 x 200 cm and 2 single bed 80 x 200 cm. The cottage itself is located in the picturesque part of “Český Les” next to Germany. It is surrounded by breathtaking and serene landscape. You can easily choose from a physically active trip or a relaxed getaway with the quietness of the surrounding woods in order to escape from the hustle and bustle and modern technology of our everyday life. You are going to spend your free time in an environment which is ideal for engaging in all kinds of sports. Whether you enjoy running, horse riding, cycling or cross-country skiing, here you can indulge in your chosen activity year-round. Mushroom pickers will be pleasantly surprised because it takes only a few steps to find fresh, wild fungi for your soups or sauces during their seasons. Because of the historical “Iron Curtain”, which lasted until 1989, much of the nature area is still uninhabited and protected from mankind nowadays. In addition, there are several beautiful lakes nearby. The closest one is the German “Perlsee”, which can be reached by bike through the frontier area of “Lučina”/”Grafenried”. Especially this area is ideal for cycling due to the street quality in Bavaria. The local drivers look after the cyclists and drive responsibly. Thus, it is perfectly safe to be on the road with your bike. The guests can use the entire cottage of course. The living space, the patio and the storeroom also offer enough space for potential bicycles or ski equipment. The spacious terrace features a large wooden seating area for both adults and children. Everyone has their own corner. On the terrace you can also use a hammock, swing, folding wooden castle, large wooden dominoes or other amenities designed for entertainment such as. social games, of which there are really countless. You can usually reach us by phone. Since we live just around the corner in neighboring “Novosedelská Huť” (3 km), we are always near you in case you need something else. On weekends, we will be available throughout the day, weekdays after 16. Hour. You are going to reside at the village of “Stará Huť” near “Nemanice”. In the proximity you can soak in the beauty of “Louka u Staré Huti” which is a unique meadow area with plentiful wild orchids during their flowering season. It has been declared a national monument. The closest Czech town is “Klenčí pod Čerchovem” (15 km). Additional close-by cities are “Domažlice” (25 km), where the so-called “Chodské” fair takes place every August, and the German “Waldmünchen” (10 km), which is a health resort with particularly fresh air. In Waldmünchen you can find the wellness center “Aquafit” that is ideal for some relaxation after any physical activity. There is much to be done in the Czech and Bavarian forest, seen, experienced. Our house is located at the very end of the village of Stará Huť, there are only a few houses in the neighbourhood, which are surrounded by the forest. There is no public transport to these parts. Transport is therefore possible only on the actual axis by car or by bike. Parking is possible directly at the cottage if there is no snow pack or approx. 10 m from the cottage. In Nemanice you will find a supermarket with groceries etc. Another shopping area is located at the Czech-German border (6 km) which offers a Travel Free Shop, groceries, restaurants, a pharmacy, a hair salon, a manicure salon and many other stores. Given the location, it is also recommendable to shop more economically in Germany which is only a short car drive from the cottage. Moreover, you can enjoy several astonishing and regularly supervised ski runs, e.g. “Gibacht”, “Čerchov”, “Capartice”. They all have received German ski area certifications by DSV. We love sourdough bread which we always bake from scratch. In case you are interested we would be happy to provide you with varied, homemade bread upon your arrival. We care deeply about our nature and therefore, we strive to instill the same passion into friends and relatives. That is why we only use economical cleansing agents and a waste sorting system. Furthermore, we always pick up waste during our nature walks. We constantly attempt to create an enjoyable atmosphere for our guests. You should not miss anything while staying with us. We happily go the extra mile to ensure just that. The previous owners of this cottage built it with endless love and passion. Thanks to that, this enchanted place contains numerous positive vibes which you will encounter easily.
