Molino del alferez Sayalonga by Ruralidays
Old flour mill, which has been restored and enabled as a holiday home, located near Sayalonga, in the province of Malaga, Andalucia. The mill was built on the ruins of a Moorish construction burned in 1572 by its owners during the Conquest. The result of the restoration is this holiday home, whose trustworthy walls have been enduring the passing of time, at the same time as they ensure protection against different climatic conditions. The rustic decoration is in perfect harmony with the house's environment, and it shows devotion towards the past, thanks to the conservation of traditional elements. The generous amount of meters of the house makes it ideal for accommodating large groups. The holiday home is the combination of two large houses, one for 34 and the other for 32 people, which can be rented together or separately. Both rural houses have a perfectly equipped kitchen, large living rooms with a fireplace, a dining room with a large table so that all guests can eat at the same time and thus enjoy delicious meals together. Out of the 25 bedrooms, one has a double bed, while all the others have single beds .One of the bedrooms also features an ensuite and is fully adapted for people with reduced mobility. All bedrooms are provided with an electric radiator, the use of which is charged extra. Its privileged exterior is in the proximity of the Sayalonga River, surrounded by lush vegetation; it welcomes several terraces, where you will find a basketball court, a private pool and barbecue area. Access from the town is possible through a 1.5km lane, partially paved. For reservations of large groups, please keep in mind that the house can only be accessed by 9-people vans, as it is located after a bridge that makes it difficult for a bus to manoeuvre.
