Delikipos Vegan / Veggie Forest Village House
Hello I’m opening the house to people practicing or trying to live a vegan / veggie lifestyle :) Come to a place where you can cook your kind of food . Located next to protected forests, the view is of mountains. Located between the 3 main towns . Lefkara is 13km away and you can drive into the mountains or to the beaches 30 minutes away . A bus connects to Larnaca . Ideal base for cyclists . Supermarket 10min drive from house . Full size table tennis table available. Beautiful location in protected forest land. Very central for the three main cities and only 30 minutes from the coast. The name is derived from beautiful garden. For more information and how to get to the village visit: (Website hidden by Airbnb) Each room has a fan for the summer and heater for winter .Two bathrooms , open plan living space and kitchen downstairs with seating areas outside. WiFi through the house , washing machine and fully fitted kitchen with all utensils. Blue tooth speaker and smart TV . Full Size table tennis table with bats and balls . Internet access is throughout the house. The main guest room has a small balcony .The house has two guest rooms , a shared kitchen and open plan living area with two seating areas, around the fire or in front on the sun deck. Summer dining is under the percola at the back of the house where you can also bbq food. There is also a studio loft with en-suite bathroom access from a drop down staircase I lead a busy life with a full time job I love the beach and nature so spend a lot of time on a bike or on a paddle boat ! If you are travelling through Cyprus I can offer many tips on places to visit, entertainment and the best places to eat out. The location of the village is perfect to visit the mountains and the coast. If you are here on business, you will have space to relax, catch up on work and leave refreshed for the next day. The capital is 25 mins away ,Larnaca 30mins and Limassol 40mins taking the highway 5 mins from the house . The kitchen is fully equipped and I would be happy to share recipe ideas if you are eating in . This is a tiny village, there are more goats than people. It is well connected , by car ,just off the Nicosia - Limassol highway. There is a good supermarket 10 mins drive away and a small Pizzeria close by in Mosfiloti. Traditional tavernas are found in the surrounding villages .The location is very central for the main cities and for mountains and coast. It is an ideal base for day tripping . The scenery is quite surprising for a Mediterranean island, rather like lowland Scotland. In the winter the small river fills and flows into a small lake. The forest has some trails , for hiking and picnicking. For cyclists touring the island it is a perfect stop off point. The Olive Grove hosts Jazz and Classical open air recitals during the (Website hidden by Airbnb) The bus stop is outside the house. It is the 410 bus to Larnaca. (Website hidden by Airbnb) From Larnaca you can get the intercity bus to Ayia Napa, Lefkosia (Nicosia ),Limassol and Paphos. The only way to be able to move freely around from the village is with a car as the bus is only for limited times per day and takes over one hour to get down to Larnaca You will need a car as there is only one bus route to Larnaca . This is a very small quiet village but around are villages with taverns . There is a good supermarket 10mins away . Kornos also has a bakery and small village groceries selling local produce . The goat farmer in Delikipos can supply cheese and milk if in season from a small shop selling traditional cyprus products in the village . You will see the goats walking through the village in the evenings .If you want a peaceful base away from the usual tourist areas , it’s a beautiful place to stay . Day trips are easy due to the central location . There is a nice speaker for music that connects with your mobile device with Bluetooth and a smart TV if you fancy a movie night. I hope it feels like a home away from home when you visit .
