Close to Brighton and Gatwick, Cissbury Cottage is situated in a tranquil setting at the edge of the picturesque historic town of Steyning. There is direct access onto the Downs Link. The beautiful South Downs Way passes through the town. There is a private parking bay & secure/dry bike storage should you need it. Electric Vehicle friendly with a charging point available. Each of our 3 cottages have been individually decorated and have underfloor heating. We also have secure bike storage & dry room if necessary. We also have a travel cot which can be set-up for you on request. Each cottage has private access. We'll welcome you and hand over keys. Our home lies directly opposite all three Steyning Holiday Cottages. Steyning is one of the prettiest Sussex country towns in a fantastic location at the foot of the South Downs. It is on both the South Downs Way, approximately halfway between Winchester and Eastbourne, which also forms part of the famous Monarch's Way and Downslink - the 36 mile footpath and bridleway linking Guildford with Shoreham.  Steyning is the perfect base for exploring the South Downs with convenient transport links from London, Brighton and the Sussex coast. Each cottage comes with a dedicated off-street parking bay. The shops and amenities are a short walk from the cottages. Main Roads: East/West A27, A272 North A24, A23/M23 Link to Steyning A283. Distances (miles): Shoreham-By-Sea 5, Worthing 8, Brighton 12, Horsham 15, Lewes 17, Chichester 24, Gatwick 32, London 51. Bus: From Brighton via Shoreham, from Horsham, Burgess Hill and Worthing via cross-country services. Coach: To Worthing, Brighton or Horsham. Train: Nearest station is Shoreham-by-Sea (just over 5 miles from us) from London Victoria or London Bridge, Portsmouth or Brighton. The bedrooms can be configured either as 2 x Single beds, or as 1 x Super King Double - please call to let us know your preferred option. There is a comfortable sofa bed that converts to a Double bed to accommodate additional guests (see additional guest fee).
