As far as the building itself is concerned, it consists of three levels with two independent houses with different entrances. Harmony Maisonette is that of the first floor and is built on 3 levels itself. The first one includes a living room with a fireplace, a comfortable corner couch to enjoy the view and to watch your favorite movie with the exquisite home cinema and a 6 persons’ dining room. On the left side there is a fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary facilities including fridge, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Along the side of the first level there is a balcony with a spectacular view to the sea. On the second level there are three bedrooms and a bathroom with a hot tub and a washing machine. One of the master bedrooms has a double sized bed, TV and a balcony with amazing view to the sea. The other master bedroom has two single sized beds and the third one has a sofa bed, which can easily be replaced by a cradle in case it is needed. They both have a balcony with view to the mountain. On the third level,you will find the cozy attic having a sofa bed and an office with desktop. The attic has access to the main porch of the house, where children can play the 2.5x1.6 m pool (65cm deep), while you are enjoying the astonishing view of harmony house. All the rooms are equipped with air condition and heating panels (infrared) for the winter period and the two master bedrooms are equipped with fans. Furthermore, the house offers the facility of solar water – heater and a special water filter for potable water. The property has an other independent studio on the ground floor and is available for rent. Guests have access to the bbq in common with the Harmony Studio's visitors. Due to the existence of the stairway the Harmony Maisonette is not accessible to strollers and not recommended for people with disabilities. The hosts will be available whenever needed (they live in the area), and they will welcome quests upon their arrival. Please contact us for a more personalized programme to meet your needs. Harmony Maisonette is located in Dikastika Complex, only 40 km away from Athens International Airport and Proastiakos Station. The sea is located only 300m away from the house. There you may choose either beach «Schinias» which is vast and sandy surrounded by the superb pine forest of Schinias which is ideal especially for the kids, or alternatively you may choose to swim in the rocky beach of ‘Dikastika’ where you shall discover another little paradise of the area. Along the seacoast, within easy reach (only 5’ distance by car), you can enjoy several water sports such as windsurf and you can also enjoy traditional Greek dishes and fresh seafood in the taverns and restaurants of the area.However, you shall never run out of choices during your stay here. Within 15’ distance you may visit cosmopolitan ‘Nea Makri’ where you will discover a huge variety of shops for all tastes or alternatively you may wish to embark on ‘a trip into history’ finding out all about the ancient history of Marathon. After that you may enjoy your dinner or coffee in the restaurants/cafeterias of the seaside or at the lake of Marathon. For those who find themselves in the mood of enjoying a further excursion, the port of Aghia Marina is available for them situated only 15’ away with itineraries for ‘Styra’, and the port of Rafina with numerous itineraries for the Greek islands. For the lovers of nature, a stroll at the National Park of Marathon is ideal. Also, in only 5’ walking distance there is a mini market and in only 10’ distance by car there is a pharmacy, a super market and various other shops for anything you might need. Yoga courses and holistic therapies are available under request. Transportation by car is highly recommended, however there is a public coach stop at Schinias Beach.
