Oakwood Cottage, originally built in the 1920's has been tastefully extended into a large 4 bedroom detached house but still keeping it's original charm including an Aga in the open plan country kitchen. It has a large drive in-drive out gated front with ample parking for several vehicles. The garden was redesigned in the last 4 years and features a bridge pond with plenty of sitting areas to take in the surrounding countryside. The property is surrounded by fields to the rear and front. The en-suite bedroom is located within the original cottage, it is accessed from the main staircase and has its own entrance and en-suite facilities. The room has a walk in wardrobe although hanging space is very limited as it is used by the family. The room overlooks the main entrance at the front of the property with views across the local fields. The en-suite shower room overlooks the back garden and surrounding fields and bridle way. There is a flat screen tv with standard viewing (not linked to the sky system ). Guests have access to utility room with the use of washing machine, dryer and American fridge freezer. Also the use of a private living room (the property has two lounges ) with access to the garden. Guests have the use of the private fully equipped gym located in the garden and guests are encouraged to use the garden and enjoy the rural surroundings. Happy to meet and greet clients and socialise if that’s what my guests want, however I’m also very happy to leave the guests to enjoy the garden and common areas. The property is located on the edge of the beautiful town of Wendover which is a quaint typically English market town. The surrounding areas are mainly fields and farms, however it is only 5 miles from the major city of Aylesbury and less less 4 miles from the famous Stoke Mandaville hospital. The property is located on the main bus route into Aylesbury and Halton. From Aylesbury there are bus links to Watford and Oxford. The main railway link into Marylebone London station via The Chiltern Railways is from Wendover station located only two miles away. Easy access to all major motorways, m25 via the main A41 link road and the M4 and M40.
