Spectacular , quiet, rural cottage. This newly built cottage contains a large maisonette room with a super-king bed and a downstairs room with two double beds, ideal for up to 4 children who can share or two adults who prefer double beds. The bathroom has a bath with a shower in it. There is a fully operating kitchen/dining room. Lots of walks nearby either to the pubs in Little Missenden, Penn woods and Penn Street or further into Old Amersham. Shared use of a large garden and tennis court. This is a unique space, set next to our house with access to a large garden and tennis court. The cottage has a downstairs bedroom with two double beds and a good sized, well equipped kitchen/diner. Upstairs is a large room with a super-king bed in. Close to lovely country walks and there are plenty of pubs that you can walk to. Guests are in their own separate cottage but have access to a shared garden and tennis court. Our house is directly opposite and we are happy to answer any queries if we are around. Mop End is a hamlet which is a 5 min drive to the picturesque town of Old Amersham and 8 minutes drive to Amersham town and tube station (serviced by the metropolitan underground line and the Chiltern line, pay underground prices) You can walk through the wood at the end of the garden to Shardeloes and further onto old Amersham. It is also easy to walk to the village of Little Missenden which has two delightful village pubs or to Penn Street which also has two pubs. There is parking for cars on site. Please park on one side of the drive and not on the patio. The M40 is 15 minutes drive away. The picturesque village of Old Amersham is a 5 minute drive or 7 minutes to Amersham Town and Tube station (serviced by the Metropolitan Line and Chiltern Railways). The large bedroom upstairs is overlooking the living room and kitchen, this isn’t closed off and light can get in through the large windows the other side of the building, also any sound being made downstairs will be heard. The bedroom downstairs has two double beds so ideal for children to share or more space for 2 adults.
