17th Century listed cottage in the heart of old Tonbridge in quiet location. Close to the high street with some great restaurants and bars. Walking distance to the train station with good links to London and the coast. The cottage has 2 double bedrooms. A large bathroom with separate shower and roll top bath. Fully fitted kitchen Open plan lounge and dinning area with log burner. GSH. Please note that the stairs to the top bedroom are steep and not suitable for someone with mobility problems. The whole house is available for your use! We do not stay at the house so you can relax and make yourself at home. We do have our items in the home and clothes in the wardrobe but there is plenty of space for your belongings We do allow dogs to stay at the property and have 2 ourselves but they don’t stay at the property as they live with us. I have a dog crate for dogs to use at the property when they stay. As state previous the stairs to the top bedroom are very steep and not suitable for young children or elderly with mobility issues. The cottage is quirky, if your looking for sleek minimal and smooth walls and floorboard this is not the place for you! We have kept lots of the original features as we feel it adds to the character of the property. Not everyone’s cup of tea. We leave some items in the fridge and cupboards for guests to use, jam, butter etc. These are for all guests to enjoy and not our leftovers in the fridge. We are 4 miles away from the cottage so available 24/7 if you need us or have a problem A lovely side street off the main high street. Beautiful church at the end of the road. Bell ringing early Friday evening is lovely to listen too. Once you pull into church street you will see a large brick wall on the left hand side. This is the entrance to the car park. We have a space on the left hand side. Traffic cone is number 7! Dogs welcome but please ask before booking. We welcome dogs at the property and have bowls and a large dog crate for people to use.
