Holiday apartment, right on the water. With a beautiful view of the ditches and fields of the Kingdom of the 1000 Islands (a wetland nature reserve in Broek op Langedijk - North Holland). 20min. from beach and sea. 10 min. from Alkmaar and 30 min. from Amsterdam. Deposit is EUR 50 p/stay - upon arrival. You will receive a rowing boat and canoe free of charge with your stay. The apartment is located on the ground floor of a renovated gardener's workshop that has existed for more than 100 years. The partially covered terrace of 20m2 is located directly on the water. Even when it rains you can sit outside without getting wet. The apartment is 44 m2 in total and has a cozy living room with fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, combi oven and dishwasher, sitting area and a 3rd bed. Also from the living room you look directly at the water. The bedroom has a double bed (1.60x2.00m). The bathroom has a shower and washbasin, separate from this is a toilet. The apartment is equipped for three guests. An extra bed can be added in the room for a fourth guest. The apartment has its own entrance. The beds are made. Towels are provided. Final cleaning, tourist tax and all energy costs are included in the price. A rowing boat and canoes are also available free of charge. Bicycle rental possible. We have our own field in the nature reserve, with a terrace and picnic table. Row 100 meters and you are there! In the area there are many opportunities for boating, swimming, fishing, cycling and walking. You are in the countryside, outside mass tourism and yet close to the dunes and sea, old towns (Alkmaar, Hoorn, Edam, Amsterdam and Haarlem) and a wide view of the nature in the area with the bulb fields in spring. 3 km from Heerhugowaard train station and 50 km from Schiphol. There are good restaurants and a full shopping center within walking distance.
