Hollyhock Cottage

This is a delightful period property set in the village of Brompton, in the very heart of North Yorkshire, close to the historic market town of Northallerton. A truly welcoming olde worlde separate annexe of an ancient and historic period property. The accommodation comprises a double bedroom, ensuite bathroom, and a large open plan living area. To the side of this is a separated area with a single bed. Beautiful views over the extensive gardens to the rear, and over The Green to the front. A continental breakfast is provided in Pat’s private kitchen. Please be aware that there is no kitchen in the apartment. Please note - if you are two people but you want to use both the single bed and the double bed there is a £10 per night surcharge. Please inform me when enquiring if this is the case. You will have a key to the main house front door, from where you access the stairs to the completely self contained apartment. Breakfast is provided in the hosts private kitchen. The property is owned and lived in by my mother in law. She is around most of the time, and is available for anything you need. She will welcome you, and she will provide you with the continental breakfast in her kitchen. A quiet village, a couple of pubs, a restaurant, and lots of peace and quiet in a timeless part of old Yorkshire. There is a bus service through the village, taking you to Northallerton where there is a comprehensive bus service throughout the area. But obviously it is best if you have transport to explore the beauty of North Yorkshire, and the Yorkshire Dales The area is extremely peaceful and quiet. A real haven.
