Studio with water views and design sauna

A magical place for the winter where you will love cocooning: Enjoy a luxurious sauna session, cool off on your private terrace by the water, caress the cat that comes along. You gaze at the wild geese flying high above you or you can take a relaxing nap in the comfortable bed with nasa foam matress. Grab one of our rental bikes or go for a walk. Studio Little Island Escape is your getaway to recharge your batteries and be inspired by beautiful nature, interior design and good vibrations! The interior is natural, warm and inviting to stay indoors during a rainy or lazy day. The studio offers water views from every window, a very relaxing experience. The room has a sitting area with a table where you can read a book or watch Netflix on your own laptop / tablet (we offer a free guest account). You can enjoy a home-delivered meal or you can prepare your own meal in the kitchenette (incl. microwave with small oven and a duo hob). The bed is 140 cm wide but very comfortable, made up on your arrival with crisp and nicely smelling sheets and blankets . Added bonus is the small private spa, a stylish bathroom with designer sauna, plenty of towels and a choice of essential oils to spread during the sessions. The studio is completely autonomous: you have your own parking space and your own entrance. The sauna belongs to the studio and also a small kitchenette where you can prepare or warm up a meal. Moreover, you have a wonderfully sheltered private terrace at the waterfront available. We offer 2 bicycles with gears for rent (10 Euro per bike / per day) so that our guests are able to discover the beautiful surroundings by bike. Contactloos inchecken mogelijk! De studio maakt deel uit van het hoofdgebouw op ons eiland. Toch heb je veel privacy met je eigen parkeerplaats, privé ingang en je eigen afgelegen terras aan het water. Mijn man en ik wonen in hetzelfde huis, maar gebruiken een andere ingang. Tijdens je verblijf kan je gemakkelijk contact met ons opnemen via (Hidden by Airbnb) , bijvoorbeeld wanneer wij de sauna voor jou/ jullie aan kunnen doen voor een heerlijk ontspannen sessie. The village is surrounded by water which makes it very special for hikes and bike tours. At the centre, there are several cafés and a restaurant. Home delivery is no problem. Nearby, there is a supermarket and a bakery, also a traiteur / winery. At Nieuwkoop, the little city next to Noorden, you will even find more pubs, cafés and restaurants, 2 large supermarkets, HEMA and drogist 's stores. Noorden has a bus connection to Alphen a.d. Rijn via Nieuwkoop or directly to Woerden where there is also a train station (connections to Utrecht or The Hague / Rotterdam). Unfortunately, the bus does not go often and during weekends not at all. If you come by train, you can rent a ov bike or I will pick you up by car (12 Euro per ride (station Woerden or Breukelen to the studio or vice versa). However, please indicate this in advance due to the planning. We wonen in een charmant oud Hollands huis met mooie houten vloeren. Hoewel mijn man en ik rustige mensen zijn, zal je ons af en toe horen (krakende houten vloeren, gedempte geluiden door handelingen in de keuken). Onze ervaring is: Wanneer we gasten hebben die in een bebouwde kom of steden wonen, worden de geluiden verder niet als storend ervaren. De sauna is erg gewild bij onze gasten en heeft de afgelopen maanden om en nabij iedere dag aangestaan. Hierdoor zijn onze energiekosten flink omhoog gegaan waardoor we hebben besloten om een sauna beleid te introduceren: Tijdens jouw verblijf zit er 1 keer gratis bij (incl. een keuze uit verschillende natuurlijke opgietmiddelen). Indien je de sauna vaker wilt gebruiken, vragen we een vergoeding van 10 Euro per volgende keer. De helft van het geld gaat dan naar het goede doel Trees For All.
