Our Georgian townhouse - built in 1823, is situated 10 minutes walk from the centre of Dover, 15 minutes walk (uphill) to Dover Castle, 5 minutes drive from cruise and ferry terminals and a 15 minute walk from Priory railway station and bus station. We are close to restaurants and pubs and local supermarkets. We have one double room with your own entrance on the ground floor. The room is spacious, warm and comfortably furnished, with your own bathroom, fluffy towels and bathroom toiletries. The comfortable double bed (double room) has a cosy duvet and eiderdowns for winter nights! Hairdryer. TV and DVD, Tea and coffee making facilities with coffee, tea and hot chocolate available, English or continental breakfast included featuring local farm produce, free range eggs, homemade jams and preserves. The double room faces the street so some traffic noise is to be expected although after 10 pm there is usually no noise. The room also has a low ceiling so anyone over 6ft may have to bend their head a little. Town centre location; close to Priory Railway Station; Dover Castle; White Cliffs, ferry and cruise terminal, supermarkets, De Bradelei Wharf Outlet shopping and St James Shopping Mall. 2 hours from London by train or 1 hour with new high speed link. Depending on timing we can even pick you up from the bus/railway station/cruise/ferry terminals as required. On-Street Parking only. 5 minute walk to town centre. Close to great restaurants and a lovely little pub - The Red Lion - within 3 minutes walk. We can give you some recommendations for our favourite restaurants if you like. Public transport outside front door with buses to Canterbury with its beautiful cathedral and unique shops! Easy walk to Dover Castle, local museums and seafront. Lovely cliffside walks. We are situated on London Road which, during peak periods can be busy. The single room is on the first floor and faces the garden. The rooms are not able to take extra beds or suitable for children. The ground floor room faces the road but there is very little traffic after 9.30 pm. We are a 7 minute walk from the town centre, 15 minutes (uphill) to Dover Castle, 5 minutes by car to ferry/cruise terminals. The railway and coach station are an easy 15 minute walk. There are plenty of lovely restaurants and pubs in Dover and there are takeaways just a 3 minute walk away from the house. We are a 15 minute walk from train and coach stations. 5 minutes by car/taxi to the ferry/cruise terminal. The bus to Canterbury/Deal/Sandwich is just a minutes walk outside the house. There are numerous pubs and restaurants in the centre of Dover and surrounds.
