This cottage is stone built and situated two miles from the village of Lothersdale, close to Skipton, just south of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, and can sleep ten people in five bedrooms. Street Head Farm is a superb cottage situated two miles from the village of Lothersdale, five miles from Skipton, just south of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Boasting five bedrooms comprising of two double bedrooms, one of which has an ensuite shower room and three twin bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor, as well as one family bathroom and one family ground floor shower room. The cottage also has a well equipped kitchen with dining area, and two sitting rooms, one of which has a logburning stove. To the outside of this cottage there is ample off road parking and a garden with furniture and a BBQ. Close to many places of interest and overlooking stunning countryside, Street Head Farm is a perfect holiday home for families and groups of friends. Amenities: Oil central heating with log burning stove. Electric cooker, microwave, large fridge/freezer, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, 2 x TVs with Freeview, DVD, video, CD player, iPod dock, WiFi, selection of books and games. Electricity, oil and one bag of fuel inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot, highchair and stairgate on request. Ample off road parking. Garden with garden furniture and BBQ. Adjoining barn for storage by prior arrangement. Two dogs by arrangement at £10 per dog, per week. Sorry, no smoking. Paddock for horses available. Fishing locally. Shop and pub 2 miles. Where else in Britain is it as satisfying to sit and do nothing as it is to explore the numerous pursuits on offer? Town: Nestled in a peaceful valley of the Pennine Hills is the charming village of Lothersdale, just five miles from the market town of Skipton. At one time, this lovely little town was home to the famous writer, Charlotte Bronte, who went on to base Gateshead Hall from her novel ‘Jane Eyre' on Stone Gappe House where she was governess. Many of the visitors today come to the village for its excellent walking routes as it is situated along the Pennine Way - on the stretch from Cowling to Gargrave. The village pub is well worth visiting and serves food whilst the nearby town of Skipton provides an excellent range of amenities. Just a short drive away is the town of Haworth, the Bronte's home and the famous Worth Valley Steam Railway.
