Burmington Barn is ideal for a romantic break, private use of hot tub (open until 10pm at night), pet friendly, Stratford-upon-Avon nearby. All on the ground floor: Living room: With 55’’ 4K ultraHD Smart TV, DVD player and tiled floor. Kitchen: With electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tiled floor. Bedroom: With king size bed, wardrobe and chair Bathroom: With corner bath, shower cubicle and toilet. Outside there is a private patio area with a hot tub. Electric heaters, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Small enclosed patio with garden furniture. There is also a separate garden area adjacent to the Barn which has a picnic bench where you can relax or say hello to our 11 very friendly pet shetland sheep, Rhea bird and 2 emus.Guests are welcome to exercise their dogs in the garden but as they are next to the sheep paddock we ask that they are kept on a lead. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. We live onsite in a cottage and guests are very welcome to contact us anytime. We are always happy to help and will do all we can to make our guest's stay as enjoyable as possible. In the quiet village of Burmington, set in the grounds of the owner’s Grade II listed cottage, Burmington Barn offers the perfect location for a peaceful, romantic break. Just a short drive from Stratford-upon-Avon, this detached holiday property offers an ideal base from which to discover the local attractions and places of historical interest including Shakespeare’s Birthplace and Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, or to enjoy a theatre break visiting the renowned Royal Shakespeare Theatre. On the North Cotswolds’ border, many Cotswold towns and villages including Broadway, Chipping Campden and Bourton-on-the-Water are within 30 minutes’ drive. The Cotswold village of Long Compton, with its top quality pub and restaurant is only 4 miles away. Take a walk to the market town of Shipston-on-Stour, 1 mile, for places to eat, drink and enjoy the local produce. The cathedral cities of Worcester and Oxford are both within 40 miles, and are both worth a visit along with the famous Silverstone Racetrack and Royal Cheltenham Race Course. All on one level, the barn has been well renovated and is decorated to a very good standard. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile. Check in is from 5pm although we can do 3pm by prior arrangement. Pets are very welcome but we do ask that they are house trained and we only accept a maximum of 2 well behaved dogs. We also ask that dogs are not left unsupervised in the property.
