The Lazy Lodge

A lovely lodge on the border of Highcliffe and Mudeford in Christchurch. Set around it's own private courtyard that gets beautiful sun all day. It has 2 double/twin bedrooms, an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a wetroom bathroom, utility room and your very own 5 person Jacuzzi! A 15 min walk (3 min drive) to the stunning Avon beach and Mudeford Quay. Highcliffe castle, Stanpit Marsh, Hengistbury Head, the New forest and supermarkets all very close by. We are very child friendly and can provide high chair and travel cot. If you have young children our lodge is perfect to relax in the evening with the children tucked up in bed. Enjoy the stars and a glass of wine out in the courtyard, play some of our many boardgames, watch a film or have a relaxing evening in the jacuzzi! We are also ideal for couples or small groups. You have your own private access to the lodge from the parking at the front and the lodge is totally private. The Lodge has limited cooking facilities. These include a gas barbecue, a convection microwave (It has microwave, grill and convection oven settings) and a single induction hotplate. Other than our local beautiful Avon beach, Southbourne beach is 10 mins drive away and Bournemouth beaches are 15 mins drive away. We have plenty of recommendations of lovely places and restaurants if interested and know all the great places to take the kids! Christchurch is a beautiful historic town that attracts a lot of visitors. We are near the beach and have a quiet and very friendly neighbourhood. It is very safe and welcoming. There is a bus service close by with buses going to nearby towns including Bournemouth and Lymington. Christchurch train station is a 10 minute drive away and the bus service runs from the station to our area. Our nearest bus stop is 3 minutes walk from the house.
