From the living room there is access to the terrace where the sun can be enjoyed and the immersion in a good book can give the right relaxed atmosphere. In the orangery, coffee can be enjoyed for bird chirps. The lake is not for swimming or fishing in. The ice age landscape in Odsherred is unique - and crucial for today's Odsherred. Therefore, Odsherred is a Geopark, take a walk around the tumulus route and experience the ice age landscape, the Stone Age dolmens and the Bronze Age burial mounds as well as Hempel Glass Museum. Odsherred is one of Denmark's most beautiful holiday areas and is known for its beautiful varied nature. In Højby, close to the holiday home, is an 18-hole golf course. In the area you will also find many galleries, artisans and Dragsholm Castle from the 13th century, where the white ghost was said to be housed. Nykøbing Sjælland city is located approx. 5 km from the holiday home and has numerous shopping opportunities with several supermarkets and a cosy carfree street with speciality shops and cafés. Here you will also find the large amusement park Sommerland Sjælland with i.a. Zealand's largest water park and a wealth of other activities for the whole family. The holiday pearl Rørvig, with a ferry connection to Hundested (50 km to Copenhagen), has an idyllic town centre with old fishermen's houses and a charming harbour with smokehouse, where you can also go on a seal safari from Rørvig harbour.
