Cosy Annex in Lodsworth near Cowdray & Goodwood

Our Cottage is hidden away in the heart of the quintessential English village of Lodsworth. The Guest suite has its own entrance and en suite within the adjacent annex . Its sparkling clean & fresh & only a short walk from the forest or village store. (The local pub The Hollist will hopefully be open again soon). Perfectly located for activities at neighbouring Cowdray or Goodwood and the South Downs. Parking is available 50 yards from the house. Chill Cottage is set half way down Vicarage Lane in a secluded and quiet spot just moments away from the forest. The guest annex has its own stylish front stable type door which opens into the newly refurbished bedroom and ensuite. There is a large flat screen TV and WIFI available for your pleasure. A warm greeting ,freshly laundered sheets and fluffy towels await all our guests. PLEASE NOTE: The bathroom uses a saniflow system so PLEASE only flush toilet paper. There is no kitchen - but we do provide a mini fridge and complimentary Tea & Coffee & Biscuits within the suite. Visitors have their own entrance into the guest suite. Lodsworth is a picture perfect village in West Sussex. Situated between Midhurst and Petworth, close to Cowdray and Goodwood. Set within the South Downs National Park which is famous for its breathtaking views and ancient woodland. We are two minutes walk from the forest and about five minutes from the popular village pub called The Hollist and local convenience store. Of historical interest 50 yards from our house is a Holy Well or Sacred Spring called St Peters Well which is known to attract pilgrims and pre dates the 13thc. Lodsworth Village operates a dark skys policy so there is no street lighting. For your convenience the guest door key has a small torch attached so you can find your way back to Chill Cottage along Vicarage Lane . Parking is available 60 yards from the house in the bay which is opposite the house called St Peters Well. There is no parking permitted on the driveway other than to load and unload - but there is parking opposite st Peters Well which is approx 60 yards away.
