Katie's Cottage

A cosy bolthole in the heart of Woodhouse Eaves, Katie's cottage is minutes walking distance to local pubs, restaurants and award winning cafe - serving Leicestershire's best breakfast! Surrounded by beautiful countryside and woodland it is an ideal spot for walkers and cyclists, or anyone simply looking to enjoy some peace and quiet. Well behaved dogs are welcomed! This one bed cottage is surprisingly roomy. Downstairs consists of a spacious living room/ dining area, a bathroom with bath tub and a well equipped kitchen with adjoining conservatory. Upstairs you will find a large double bedroom and shower room. During the summer months the patio at the back of the house is a real sun trap! The cottage is equipped with all the home comforts you might need to enjoy your stay. Wifi is provided, although the signal is occasionally interrupted. There are two televisions; a small television in the conservatory and a larger smart TV in the living room. I work next door to the property so usually on hand if you have any concerns during your stay - available over the phone outside of working hours. Woodhouse Eaves is a hidden gem in the heart of Charnwood. Surrounded by stunning countryside and just a stones throw away from Beacon Hill and Bradgate Country Parks. It is a lively village with several pubs and restaurants, a handful of small independent shops and an award winning cafe right on your doorstep. The village is within easy driving distance of Leicester city centre, home to the National Space Centre and King Richard III visitor centre. Loughborough town centre/ university is 10 minutes by car. The village is on a bus route between Loughborough and Leicester, which stops in several villages en route including Quorn where you will find the Great Central Railway station.
