Coopers' Cottage - Cosy Village Hideaway
Coopers Cottage, a delightful village hideaway, in a private garden, with access from the High St. A lovely dble room with a vaulted roof, tea/coffee making facils & fab ensuite + parking on High St or Townside. A G&T/beer/wine are offered & fresh milk for hot drinks. It's just 2 doors away from the King's Head pub, a short walk to the station, buses, 2 other pubs, cafes, PO, shops, an Indian restaurant & a chippie. (No TV.) Nordsk, just up the High St, does good breakfasts/lunches/coffee etc. We are offering a well designed room & ensuite, in a quiet corner of the garden, with easy access to all the facilities of the village. There is a kettle, tea, coffee and milk if required, with a welcome G&T/Vino on arrival. (NB There are no cooking facilities or fridge.) We can leave a key safely if not available when you arrive and/or depart. Enclosed garden area, accessed via a locked gate from the High Street. A small hall area leads you straight into the room, with the stylish ensuite adjoined to the room. This has a spacious shower area with a large rainfall shower-head (no bath). Parking is on High Street, which you will need to reverse down, or on Townside, but typically plenty of space. If a continental breakfast is required, please order ahead of your stay. This can include tea/coffee, fruit juice, a range of mini pastries and a choice of yoghurt. Haddenham is a lovely village in Buckinghamshire with a picturesque church and duck pond. On the edge of the Chilterns, there is plenty of walking and easy access to London and B'ham by train (13 mins walk). Very convenient in every sense and very friendly, you can't help but like it here. There is easy parking on both Townside and High Street. With bus stops barely 5 mins walk and the train station just 13 mins, you can be in London, Oxford or B'ham in approx an hour from the door. Milk can be provided daily for your own drinks in the room. Need a G&T, please just ask! Having let it to friends, they have all loved being there and some book to stay each year (if they can!). It is their enthusiasm that has led to us advertising the space and facilities, so we hope you also like it. Although it has only been available for a few months, we have met such charming and interesting people - it is a pleasure to host them!
