Cottage on Spectacular Ranch

Located in the foothills of the Sierras and 2 hours from 2 different Sequoia National Park areas. Our 107 acre cattle ranch has a rare beauty that everyone enjoys. Sip your coffee from the deck of your private cottage and relax in the peaceful energy of the pond, pastureland, mountains and sunset. Bring your horses as we have a place for them to stay. We have plenty of hiking, biking, and riding trails in the hills of our ranch. The river is a short walk from us and Success Lake is nearby. Peaceful, serene, beautiful, amazing. These are words that I hear from our guests over and over again. There is an energy here that envelopes and grounds you. Our guests find themselves relaxing on their deck and doing nothing but enjoying the beauty of this place. You will see horses, cattle, geese, ducks, herons, vultures, lots of small birds, frogs, deer, squirrels, and rabbits. Sometimes, at the edge of the rangeland, you will see a mountain lion, bobcat, wild pig or bear. If you would like to book a vacation that include a Blocked Sunday through Thursday, please contact us, as we may be able to unblock the dates for you. Nearby, we have Lake Success, access to the river at Lower Coffee Camp, Upper Coffee Camp, and (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Stairs. There is golfing at River Island Country Club and rock climbing at the Dome. The main room has a full size futon, there is a twin size rolling fold up bed and we can bring an air mattress for a 5th person. There is a desk in the bedroom. The kitchen includes sink, oven, stove, Keurig Coffee Maker, Microwave, Refrigerator, Coffee Cups, Plates and Bowls, Silverware, pots and pans and cooking utentils. We have a propane BBQ/grill that you can use. Please Note: The bathroom is located off of the bedroom. If you have people sleeping in the beds in the main room, they will need to walk THROUGH your bedroom to get to the bathroom!!!!! We will most likely greet you when you arrive and give you a brief overview of the ranch and what it offers. After that, we will leave you alone. Springville is a small town of (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) people. We are located 3 miles from Springville in the country on a ranch. The big town of Porterville (50,000 people) is 25 minutes away. Our ranch is at the end of a country road, where you are surrounded by pastures, mountains and nature. We are a 7 minute drive to our little town of Springville or a 45 minute walk. Porterville is 35 minute drive west from us. The two Sequoia National Parks are 1.5 hour drive east or 1.8 hour north east from our ranch. Our ranch has 107 acres to hike or bicycle. The river can be accessed by a quarter mile walk to the bridge, or we can drive you. Or you can drive to 3 scenic river access locations: 1. 10 minutes east to Lower Coffee Camp, 2. 15 minutes east to Upper Coffee Camp, or 25 minutes east to (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Stairs. Lake Success is 15 minutes away. River Island Golf Course is 15 minutes away. Eagle Mountain Casino is 20 min. drive to their shuttle parking. PETS and HORSES ARE ALLOWED BY PRE-APPROVAL ONLY $35 Pet Fee must be paid prior to check-in or your dog will not be allowed on the property. Your pet should be friendly and house trained. Pets that utilize pee pads are NOT allowed. Your pet must be supervised by you at all times or crated in the room if left alone. *Any pet that becomes disruptive will need to be removed immediately. *You will be charged for any damage caused by your pet HORSES: We have pasture paddocks available for your horse(s) to rent. We charge an additional $20/night fee per horse. Please bring your own hay/grain or with advance notice, I can provide bale(s)of hay for $25/bale. We have 70 acres for you to explore and ride.
