Whether you are on your way to explore the South West, visiting friends or wanting a short break from the busy bustle. We offer a convenient home away from home. Completely self-contained accommodation for one or two adults only (one double bed). With the advantage of close proximity to your helpful hosts who will ensure that you have everything you need for a perfect stay. It is recommended that cars are parked off road in the driveway of the property. There is a metered 32 amp socket for charging electric cars (13.5p per KW). There is no access to the rear of the property. Interaction will be as much and as little as required. We will endeavour to make our guests as welcome as possible and aid with local information without imposing on their privacy. We are on the edge of the 'Green Belt' between town and country with the River Itchen running through the village. There are lovely walks along the river banks and through woods and fields. A variety of shops in the village including a convenience store with P.O., fish and chip shop, Indian and Chinese take-away, Toby Carvery and Pub. There is also a Tescos One Stop and a Lidl store and M & S Foodhall a short drive away. There is a regular bus service to Eastleigh Town Centre and the Railway Station. It is a comfortable 20 minute walk. Southampton airport is a few minutes by car. There is a frequent rail service to London from Eastleigh or Southampton Parkway. approx. 1 hour by fast train. National Coach service operates from Southampton and Winchester. We have lived in the area for 50 years and will be happy to help share our local knowledge.
