Cosy 2 Bed Country Cottage - Central Rural Norfolk

Bluebell Cottage is a cosy, peaceful 2 bed cottage in North Elmham. Nestled in the beautiful countryside and just 30 minutes from the stunning North Norfolk Coast. Ideally located to explore all that Norfolk has to offer. The cottage has one double bedroom (sleeps 2) and a large twin bedroom (sleeps 2 - 2 singles). It’s well equipped with log burner, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine & slow cooker. Book swap available as well as WiFi, TV, Apple TV (Netflix) and DVD player. The cottage is comfortable and warm, with central heating and a traditional wood burner. There’s a large family lounge and separate dining area. The bathroom is located downstairs with a roll top bath (no shower, only shower head on mixer taps). There’s a private garden and furniture to dine outside. Buckets and spades are available as well as plastic tableware for beach picnics. The twin bedroom has a tv (not connected to terrestrial, but with a PS2 (with various games) that also doubles as a DVD player, should the kids want their own movie / gaming experience. Bedding is provided, but please ensure you bring your own towels and beach towels. Flexible check in and out times can be arranged. Max 2 x well behaved dogs welcome at £10 per dog, per night (though please keep them off furniture and downstairs only). Please do not leave dogs alone in the cottage. Entire cottage is available to you including the garden. There is a key safe on site allowing flexible check in / out. If arriving at night please bring a torch! As well as having great pubs nearby (The Railway Inn - North Elmham, a 15 minute walk away either via the old disused railway line - a lovely countryside walk, or through a great local playground . The Brisley Bell is a 5 minute drive away). There are several walks on the doorstop, with a local enclosed dog friendly wood too! Please note there are sheep grazing in nearby fields so dogs should be kept under control at all times. The ruins of the North Elmham Chapel are 2 minutes from the cottage (English Heritage). The cottage is fabulously positioned for visiting North Norfolk’s stunning coastline such as at Blakeney, Wells, Holkham and Brancaster (to name a few) and it’s abundance of amazing gastro pubs. The cathedral city of Norwich is also close by, approx a (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) minute drive. Various country halls are nearby - Holkham Hall, Houghton Hall, Blickling and Felbrigg Hall for those who love English country houses and outstanding gardens. There’s a local tea room and convenience store - or a few minutes drive away, Dereham with it’s array of amenities or the nearby Fakenham and Holt. There are endless activities for children & grown ups in Norfolk including crabbing and paddling at Blakeney, sailing and paddle boarding at Morston & Wells, seal watching at Blakeney Point, bird watching at Titchwell, coastal walks along the North Norfolk Coastal Path. You can also hire bikes and ride them for miles along the coast road. Children will also enjoy The Dinosaur Park, and Pensthorpe Nature Reserve (both (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) minutes drive away). Sheringham Park is fabulous year round and the list goes on... Bluebell Cottage is best accessed by car, it is located equidistant from Kings Lynn and Norwich Train Stations. There are local buses and taxi services. Parking is available in the nearby church car park, or there is on street parking (but not directly outside).
