The House of this is located 20 km west of Florence, near the villages of Carmignano and Vinci on the hills overlooking Florence. You can reach Florence in 30 minutes by car. You can enjoy the city of Florence without its drawbacks! A quiet free parking is outside the property (50 m). For your purchases the nearest shops are within 2 kms: green grocer’s, pastry’s, bars, banks, a newsagent, stationer, haberdashery, hairdresser, florist, electrician, laundry, post office, pharmacy (with the surgeries), three restaurants, wine bar, pizzeria. There are several restaurants nearby. If you prefer shopping there are 3 supermarkets in the nearby village of Poggio a Caiano where you can buy many local delicacies. SWIMMING POOL: The private swimming pool (4.50 m x 7.50 m x 1.20 m/h) is shared with our family and guests (max 4 people) of the other apartment. The pool is usually open from end of May until the end of September, depending on the season. KINDLY NOTE that the access to the swimming pool is authorized only if you wear a swimming cap. You can eat outside or swimming in the pool admiring Florence and the Medicean Villa "La Ferdinanda". MARGHERITA APARTMENT: Our lovely, bright and cozy apartment (85 square meters) can accommodate up to 2/3 people. It is located on the first/ground floor of our villa, has a private entrance, garden, sun terrace and private pool. It is composed of a large bedroom with a double bed, a large living room with 1 big sofa and a big digital TV, a well equipped typical Tuscan masonry kitchen, a large bathroom with both shower than bathtub. A folding bed can be added in the living-room. FREE INTERNET WI-FI. The living room, the kitchen and the bedroom open on to a big terrace furnished with table and chairs for eating outdoors and deck chairs for sunbathing. KINDLY NOTE: In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19) this apartment has adopted extra safety and hygiene measures to protect the health of our guests and staff and will adopt an online check-in service. We prefer that our customers in this particular situation bring their own linen. If this is not possible, the cost of renting bed linen and towels will be 15 euros per person, per change.
