We provide a house book in your room detailing local places of interest, restaurants etc. but we are more than happy to suggest other ideas if required. Hampton in Arden is a quiet village with excellent transport links. The village is a 15 minute walk or 2 minutes by car. About a mile from the house is The White Lion, a traditional village pub which serves food and good beer and gives you a chance to meet with the locals. There is also Hampton Manor, an exclusive hotel and wedding venue with restaurant set in magnificent grounds. Other good evening eateries at The White Horse, Balsall Common and The Boat at Catherine de Barnes The village cafe, Sandwiches @ No. 6, will be happy to serve you breakfast. Hampton is handy for several places of interest: Stratford on Avon, Warwick Castle, Kenilworth, the NEC (with Resorts World and the Genting Arena) and of course the city of Birmingham, with its vibrant night life. (Information can be provided during your visit to help you explore the neighbourhood). We're very handy for Birmingham Airport. A car is highly recommended as we are quite rural We're close to Hampton in Arden station which is one stop from Birmingham International Station for the airport and NEC. We're an ideal spot if you're using the airport for early morning flights and where possible are glad to help with lifts but would recommend you have your own transport. There are several reliable taxi companies serving the area, including Uber We have cats as pets. One is very friendly and will usually come to greet you. The other is very shy and will run a mile - don't take it personally!
