The Vestry, Old Chapel School

A charming little two bed converted Vestry in the Old Chapel School with period features including stained glass windows. Ideally situated in the heart of the quaint village of Ticehurst, the property is just a 5min walk from award winning pub 'The Bell'. The Vestry is a cosy stay, it has two bedrooms one with a double bed and the other room can either be made up as a double or twin. Downstairs there is a family bathroom with bath and overhead shower, loo and basin. A good sized kitchen with breakfast table to seat 4 people. The kitchen has electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, kettle and washing machine. The Sitting room is a lovely open family room with large comfortable sofas, smart TV, board games or a jigsaw to get stuck into. Free parking for one car is available round the back of the property, more off street parking or free car park available close by. We live just down the road so can be easily available. There is a key safe at the Vestry so guests can either let themselves in or we can meet them for check in. Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty the surrounding countryside includes Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest and Bewl Water where a wide range of outdoor activities and water sports can be enjoyed. Royal Tunbridge Wells Spa is also close by with a lovely selection of shops, restaurants, cinema and theatres. Or visit one of the many National trust properties and gardens that is a short drive away, such as Scotney Castle. If you are here to enjoy the countryside there are many great walking routes with plenty of beautiful views to take in. There is also a good bus service that runs from the village to Tunbridge Wells and other areas.
