La Haye, a Farm House in Normandy.

It is a charming place, and a real haven of peace. The house has been carefully restored by its present owners who have lived there for the last 30 years making it a perfect stop over on the way further into France. The bed rooms are large and comfortable with beautiful views. They each have en-suite bath rooms as well as television and Wifi for internet access. The bed rooms are on the first floor each with a separate stairway and exterior entrance. Breakfast is taken in a comfortable ground floor room next to the farmhouse kitchen or on the lawn outside, on small tables, if preferred. We have a lot of information about this area at the disposal of our guests There are a lot of interesting places to visit in our area, like the fascinating little towns of Lyons la Forêt ( a unique 16th century time warp) or Gerberoy, an amazingly pretty place, or the impressive fortifications of Château Gaillard (built in only one year by Richard the Lion Heart) or Gisors( the frontier of English Normandy, and the France of the french Kings). There are the abbey ruins of Mortemer, the much visited gardens created by the impressionist artist Monet, and within striking distance, the towns of Rouen and Beauvais where there is a great deal to see, not forgetting all the festivals and the open air markets.
