Guesthouse Palmeraie

Palmeraie Guesthouse is a traditional Berber house situated on the road to Todra Gorge at 7km from Tinerhir center. The guesthouse in on the road directly to the Todra Gorge (7km). Two brothers run the guesthouse and restaurant. Palmeraie House is 7 km from the town of Tinghir, on the road to the Todra Gorge. The guesthouse is midway between Tinghir and the gorge. Look for our large white sign on the palmeraie side of the road. Airports Ouarzazate airport is a two hour drive from Tinghir. The drive from Marrakech airport to Ouarzazate takes four hours. The road from Ouarzarzate to Tinghir is referred to as the Route of a Thousand Kasbahs. The magnificent scenery and Berber architecture are a wonderful introduction to this area of Morocco. Half board possible. 2 patios, beatufil terrace with berber tent, an enjoyable place to have your meals or just a cup of tea. There is a lot of marvellous hikles to do around, to abandonned kasbahs, sources, lake with sacred fishes.... Hikes from 2 to 6 hours. If you are not driving yourself, we can arrange to meet you at either airport. Buses CTM and other buses from Marrakech, Ouarzazate and Erfoud stop at Tinghir. 5 rooms with bathrooms.
