Single room in quiet Kings Heath

We offer home-stay accommodation in our quiet 4 bedroom semi-detached house. Guests have the benefit of privacy with their own reception room with TV and DVD player, and free wifi. We are in a quiet cul-de-sac 5 miles from Birmingham City Centre with convenient public transport links. Birmingham has more canals than Venice, linking this historically key industrial city with the rest of the country. Miles of easy and pleasant walks along the canals are easily accessible, 2 minutes from our B&B. Take in the passing woods, fields, beautiful villages, flora and fauna, birds, ducks and geese, which cannot be appreciated from roads. On a canal walk you will appreciate the serenity, tranquillity and beauty of the water and surroundings. Guests have access to their bedrooms, a guest living room, the kitchen, the main entrance hallway and staircase, and the garden/backyard. The rest of the house, including other bedrooms are non-guest areas. Quiet residential area with nearby canal and shops. Bus to the city centre every 4 minutes from a row of houses away from the house. 5 min drive to the countryside for walking. Keen walkers can join a free 5 mile walk with a walking club, or enjoy longer walks up to 10 miles. An 18-hole golf course is only a 10 minute walk away. Canal walks. Strong walkers can walk 24 miles direct to Stratford-Upon-Avon, home of Shakespeare. Alternatively, enjoy an 8 mile canal walk to Birmingham city centre and a bus ride back. Bicester Village, the world famous outlet shopping centre offering luxury brands at big discounts, is an hour's drive away. A plethora of historically and culturally important sites are within an hour’s drive of Birmingham. These include Stratford-Upon-Avon (the home of Shakespeare), Ironbridge, and historical Warwick Castle. Many beautiful interesting traditional English villages including the Cotswolds are 40-60 mins drive away. The train station in Birmingham is convenient for all towns and cities in the UK. Many other interesting UK cities and towns such as Manchester, Bristol, Blackpool, Liverpool, Nottingham, Southampton, Oxford, Bath, and Coventry are about 2 hours or less drive away.
