Lovely double room Ardingly - close to everything
We have the all the benefits of a village with 2 pubs, a baker & shops. Great walks and reservoir. Only 6-7 minutes from Haywards Health with fast links to London, bars & restaurants and Lindfield village and high street too. Brighton is a 10-15 minute train ride and Gatwick is a 15-20 minute drive. The house is homely, comfortable, eclectic and quiet. Suitable for professionals looking for a longer stay or couples too. Short walk from Ardingly College & Wakehurst place. We are vaccinated. The room has a double bed and a sofa bed. So two single people can share, or a family with an older child who is happy to share a room. The house isn't equipped for toddlers unfortunately. You can relax in the garden, cook in the kitchen like you would at home - we have a wealth of herbs and spices to share. It’s a well equipped kitchen. You can eat and relax in the dining area too. Although the bathroom is shared it’s only the toilet with other person. The big bathroom is mostly just for you. You can park on the high street, or there are two car parks in the village a two minute walk from the house. There are lots of walks in the area. There is a bus service from the village which goes to Crawley or Haywards Heath. The nearest train station is Haywards Heath. It's a 7minute car /taxi journey. Trains to London leave every 15 minutes to London Bridge, Victoria and St Pancras. You can also get trains to Brighton (15-20mins) and many other Sussex destinations. We are always available to ask questions and help you navigate the local area. We are friendly and always respect everyone’s need for space but ofcourse chat briefly when we are passing in the house and kitchen. It’s a relaxed and welcoming home. This is a lovely village - great walks, reservoir for water sports. Lovely bakers selling local produce. Easy to drive or get to Brighton, Gatwick, Lewes. Haywards Heath (where all main shops) + Lindfield are 5 minutes away. Plenty of pubs and places to eat. 2 pubs in the village, a great baker, hairdresser, local shop. Wakehurst Place (National Trust venue) is 2 minutes up the road. There is a bus. Trains from Haywards Heath go to Brighton and London very regularly and very quick. The South of England Showground is also here - a few minutes walk from the house. We are super accessible to so many places. If you want to stay local. It’s a great area for long walks and bike riding. There is a bus service 2 minutes from the house and it does run during commuting times if you need it for work. The main station is Haywards Heath (6-7 minute drive or 15 on the bus) with trains to London and Brighton and many direct routes to so many wonderful places across Sussex and beyond to Cambridge and the Bedford routes. Trains are very frequent and there is a car park attached to the station so you can park, get your ticket and have direct access to the platforms. We have two friendly cats Tabitha and Malissa.
