The Annexe on High Woodside Farm is an ideal location for couples or families who want to visit the North East of England It is a 15 minute drive to Durham and a 30 minute drive to Newcastle and Sunderland a 40 minute drive. The Annexe has an open plan kitchen, diner and lounge on the ground floor with a bathroom, consisting of toilet, sink and shower and 2 bedrooms on the first floor. It is very light and modern and has a small courtyard. The Annexe on High Woodside Farm is a converted double garage and is detached from the main house. It is situated in a beautiful location and near to village life and is surrounded by great cycle and walking routes. The upstairs bedrooms are built into the eaves of the cottage with sloping ceilings and have limited head space in some areas. Very cosy though! The largest bedroom is open plan from the top of the stairs and has a king size bed. The smaller room has a door and has a small double bed. The Annexe will comfortably sleep 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. There is space for a fourth adult either in the small double or on the very comfy couch! A toddler mattress/ travel cot can be fitted in for infants. Guests have full access to the garden which is shared with the owners of the main house. I am available on site if there are any queries, and will meet guests and show them around. Please ask any questions any time and I'll answer as best I can We are near to the historical village of Lanchester with lovely walks and cycle tracks that lead to Durham and Consett and lead to C2C routes. Durham is 15/20 minutes drive and Newcastle is 25/30 minutes drive. We are 15 minutes drive from Beamish Museum and ideally located to visit Hadrians wall The Coast And many other attractions further afield. You need a car or Bike to get around as we are 2 miles from the local village and shops and pubs! and it’s a very busy main road to walk along with only a partial footpath.
