Three floors, a Lucom, exposed beams, vaulted ceilings and an Observation Gallery make this an ideal location from which to explore the Blackwater Estuary and the wonderful surrounding towns and villages. Situated on a private development the House provides a perfect place to stay for families and friends, especially those with a love of Wildlife, Fishing, Sailing, Exploring and Hiking. Accommodation comprises of:- Ground Floor; Entrance Hall, Kitchen, Family Dining Room and Lounge. 1st Floor: Family Bathroom, Bedroom 1 with Double Bed, Bedroom 2 with Two Single Beds. 2nd Floor; Master Bedroom with King Size Bed, Lounge and En-suite. Access to the "Observation Gallery" via a fixed ladder with Bookcase, Desk and P.C. The house features an unusual "Lucom" which provides a nice an ideal observation area for Birdwatchers and Sailors etc on the Gallery. Whole house and garden with private access to the sea wall footpath. Heybridge is ideally situated to explore the North East Essex towns and villages located around the Blackwater and River Crouch Estuaries. Maldon, Heybridge Basin, Colchester (Britains Oldest recorded Town), Mersea Island, Bradwell-on-sea, Burnham-on-Crouch and Chelmsford (County Town of Essex) to name just a few. The lovely old town of Maldon is a few minutes drive away. Situated at the head of the Blackwater Estuary, it provides a perfect place for shopping and sight seeing. Heybridge Basin is only 15 mins walk along the Sea Wall, two lovely Essex pubs and a Wilkins Jam Factory Tea Shop and restaurant with another situated at Mill Beach just a 10 minute walk in the other direction. Directly opposite the entrance is Chigborough lakes, a well stocked fishery for both Coarse and Game fishing. See: (Website hidden by Airbnb) Whilst we welcome families with young children, the house does have a fairly steep ladder to the Gallery and a raised patio area with steps in the garden which will require close adult supervision of young children. The house is part of a private development with strictly allocated car parking. We have two spaces (large & medium cars) or three spaces (small cars). There is no other parking available on the site.
