An ideal base to explore the Isle of Man, Castletown is situated in the south, 10 miles from Douglas and the ferry terminal. The island’s airport is 1 mile away and transport links with buses and steam trains for day trips are excellent.Roy Cottage has been lovingly restored as self-catering holiday accommodation. The cottage has been fitted out to a very high standard and is an extremely comfortable home from home for the leisure or business visitor. Roy Cottage is a very easy five-minute walk to historic Castletown. The town has a distinctive charm with many historical sites, good local amenities, shops, restaurants and pubs (including the famous ‘Glue Pot’ inn). Just outside Castletown are the beautiful countryside and beaches of Derbyhaven, Scarlett and Langness. Roy Cottage is ideal for a couple, on three floors, one double (king size bed), bedroom, bathroom (shower), lounge (with sofa bed), large kitchen, unlimited Wi-fi. A third person can be accommodated on request, but this is a sofa bed in the lounge.
