The Summerhouse has a private entrance with magnificent views over the country side from the floor to ceiling windows, yet only 20 miles from London. Open plan living with sleeping arrangements on the mezzanine and ground floor sofa bed. WiFi (75Mb fibre) and secure parking (24/7 outdoor CCTV) is free. Private terrace on the back. Modern oak beam barn conversion with a new bathroom and walk-in shower. Natural color scheme, WiFi (75Mb fibre), Bose music system, B&W surround sound speaker with Bluetooth, Ultimate Ears portable speaker, SkyQ TV, Amazon FireStick, Apple TV 4K and a projector with large drop down screen. NO KITCHENETTE but there is a Nespresso machine with milk frother. Complementary tea, milk during your stay and Nespresso capsules for the first night. Smeg fridge, Smeg kettle, Dualit toaster, microwave, cutlery and crockery. Parking on the driveway and a private terrace with large table, chairs, Fatboy beanbags and BBQ ‘with a view’. The Summerhouse is enabled with the 24/7 virtual assistant "Alexa" to control lights, music etc. Heating/cooling is done with a remotely controlled Mitsubishi air-conditioning and supported by under floor heating. The village pub is a 5 min walk and plenty of other country (gastro) pubs nearby. The town of Oxted is a 5 min drive offering shops, restaurants, bars, a cinema and a beautiful village green with tennis courts and playground. Tandridge golf club, rated in the top 100 of UK & Ireland’s most beautiful golf courses, is just across the road. Other golf courses, eg. Godstone/Westerham/Limpsfield, are around the corner. It is also a very popular cycling/mountain biking area with plenty of tracks and organised rides. The Summerhouse is in close proximity to Central London (35 min by train), major airports (Gatwick 15 min and Heathrow 45 min), the Eurotunnel (1 hour) as well as key motorways. The Summerhouse has NO KITCHENETTE but there is a Nespresso machine with milk frother, Smeg fridge, Smeg kettle, Dualit toaster, microwave, cutlery and crockery. The Haycutter is a fabulous pub/restaurant in Hurst Green (5min drive) as well as the new Bull Inn in Limpsfield. ToasT in Oxted (5min drive) is excellent for breakfast, coffee and lunch.
