Accents of copper, deep plum & ochre with sumptuous velvety settee & throws. Bathroom is cosy & effective. Kitchen contains all you require for your stay & convenience of a washer/dryer for your use. I also have the facility of a record deck & albums for your entertainment & pleasure located in the kitchen....just bring your 🕺🏿 💃dancing shoes! Beautiful country cottage full of charm & character actually used in the filming of the original “Emmerdale farm”. 6 quaint cottages set in a semi rural location also used for filming of Heartbeat. Old & new modern styling set in a luxuriously comfortable home with the added benefit of a log burning stove. Rear garden incorporates floor slate chippings & a decked seating area with down lights lightening the garden at night. There is also the use of a ‘Firepit’ for cool evenings. Local shops 1.5 miles away whilst original ‘Woolpack’ pub is a 3/4min walk away. Train stations are 1.5 miles away, 6min drive. Local bus service is at bottom of road taking you to large town centre (Shipley) which is 1.5 miles away. World famous Saltaire village heritage site is within bus/car /cycle ride or a half hour walk/cycle along Leeds/Liverpool canal way. Bingley, Leeds/Liverpool Airport are all in easy reach. Or take a leisurely train ride to Leeds City Centre 15mins away. Front door entrance. Access also around the back to garden area. Please note rear garden is under reconstruction...still accessible but with care., I would be available to meet you at the property on your day of arrival. Please ask for anything you might require to make your stay more personal. If Cycling facilities are required I can also sort that out too, please ask me in advance. I am also willing to do local tour of sight seeing areas as required. The cottage also contains a burglar alarm for your convenience. Most of the year especially the summer months “Esholt” can be busy with tourist who specifically come to take pictures outside the old “Woolpack” pub used in the original “Emmerdale farm” filming. This creates an atmosphere & a pleasant buzz around the village. My cottage is a 3/4mins walk away from this spot so not a problem for my guests. The rear garden of my cottage you will often see horses /cows/sheep & lambs grazing in the fields. My cottage is accessible by car or bike & you can either park on the road at the bottom or drive up the old rocky road & park outside the house. Please be aware. Due to the ever changing face of COVID-19 rules & regulations, CC will endeavour to abide by the local or Government rules & restrictions that apply to my area at the (Website hidden by Airbnb) will be throughly prepared for your stay using detergents, sanitisers, sanitising hand gels, disinfectant wipes & antibacterial furniture sprays & these items will be available for your own peace of mind to use during your stay.
