Old Town Modern Studio.

Weather you are a couple, family or friends you will appreciate the living in our new, beautiful art studio building and on the big terrasse to the garden. Inside you will find a friendly and light living space. The second floor is a 35 m2 built-in floor. Here You sleep. First floor contains kitchen, bathroom and the spacious studio room. Have your meals around the round table here or paint*, workout, play or just enjoy the open and light studio atmosphere. Sleeping for children can be arranged. *If you want to be creative during your holiday you will have a possibility here. In the studio there is acces to easels, brushes, palettes etc. and for an extra fee you can have acces to acrylic colors and/or supervision from one of your hosts who are both experienced artists and art teachers. Kuldiga is a brilliant choice to stay and paint for a week. From the building you walk directly into the garden. The large terrace faces south. Here you can have your meals or just undisturbed enjoy the sun while the children plays in the grass. Your hosts are friendly - a latvian-danish couple speaks fluently latvian, english and german and the scandinavian languages. They live in a separate house next to the studio, enough far not to disturb you. They are ready with advice and help when you need it. Both are artists/art teachers. We live next to "Estrades parks" a big nice green park in the old town of Kuldiga. Here you will also find several playgrounds for the kids. Our street "Malu" is part of the protected area of Kuldigas old town featuring houses from 18. and 19.century. A green area with big trees, gardens and old houses. You will be living 5 minutes walk from the walking street "Liepajas Iela" and 15 minutes from the river Venta and its famous waterfall "Ventas Rumba". The nearest supermarket is 5 minutes away. One of the towns best café´s is around the corner. 10 minutes away you will find a shopping area and the bus station. Parking is just outside the house. In the town basically everything is in a walking distance. Kuldiga is situated in the heart of the region "Kurzeme" big forests, wide views but also many interesting sites and towns can be reached in less than an hour. 40 km. away in "Jurkalne" you will find the coast with amazing beaches and its high cliffs.
