The Dairy at Streat Place Barn, Streat, Sussex
The Dairy is a beautiful, traditionally restored, self-catering cottage in the curtilage of Streat Place Barn, built in 1600. Situated in the rural village of Streat, a fabulous walking area, guests have access to a private walled garden overlooking the South Downs. Lewes is 8 miles away and Brighton 10 miles. The Dairy is separate from the main house and has parking space, for one car, directly outside the property. Hosts and guests may see each other come and go, but the guests will enjoy privacy. We will be on hand to answer questions or attend to any issues if required. 'The Dairy' is in the old, rural, quiet village of Streat, situated off a farm track just behind Streat Church. We look onto the South Downs National Park, there are lots of footpaths close by and it is a wonderful area for walking and enjoying the views. Guests can park their car in the gated barnyard, just in front of The Dairy. Closest airport is Gatwick. Closest train stations are Burgess Hill or Hassocks. Both stations have taxi ranks at the entrances, if you will be arriving by taxi from one of the train stations please request a map from us to give to your driver. The living room sofa can be folded out into a double bed to accommodate 1 or 2 children (additional £10 per child per night). 1 dog is permitted with prior arrangement, dogs own bedding must be brought and dog must not be allowed on any furniture (additional £5 per night).
