The Lodge in Marsden

Luxury log cabin at the edge of the Peak District nestling in a beautiful rural location with stunning views yet close to local amenities, shops, bars and several restaurants. We are ideally positioned on the Colne valley circular walk with easy access to the Pennine Way/Bridleway. The Lodge is well equipped with a luxury fitted kitchen with integrated appliances including hob, hood, oven, washing machine and dishwasher. King size bed Gorgeous outside garden space with hot tub solely for the use of guests. Outside area with viewing deck overlooking the Colne Valley exclusive to guests. Your host is on-site most of the time to respond to queries. Also available by phone if needed but rest assured that the Lodge is your own to enjoy and your stay won’t be interrupted unless you request it. Only a five minute walk to the picturesque village of Marsden. Although located in a rural area it has an abundance of pubs, bars restaurants and shops. You can the retire to your country retreat and enjoy your stay. Marsden is located on the increasingly popular Ale Trail with several pubs serving their own craft and guest beers. Marsden benefits from the best rail links from the station which is less than 10 minutes walk from the farm. You can be in Manchester or Leeds in about half an hour with regular trains during the week, slightly less but still frequent on Sundays. The Lodge is best suited to 2 adults Hot tub Pleases note that the hot tub is not available on the morning of your departure due to it being treated and prepared for the next guests. There are instructions for the hot tub in the lodge Please do not turn the hot tub off, if the temperature is turned down or used for a long period of time please be aware it will Take time to heat back up Please be respectful of our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum, please do not use the hot tub after 10pm No additional guests without prior arrangement with host Check in between 3pm-8pm Pets must be requested at time of booking There is an additional fee for pets Limited parking, only space for one car to park at the lodge The lodge is accessed via a private lane. The lane is accessible by foot or car, please note the lane is steep The lodge is on Spring water, therefore we have a hot water tank to conserve water, therefore once the water has been used it can take 15 minutes for the tank to refill Recycling Kirklees council do not recycle glass, therefore we ask guest to take glass away with them or to the goods yard near the train station to recycle. Glass cannot be put in general waste Covid 19 Due to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations.
