Welcome to a place where the road ends, and the great sands begin. Our camp is located just a 15 minute walk from village M'hamid, being a perfect spot to start any trip deeper in the desert, which we are happy to organize. Our cozy eco clay-wooden huts will keep you warm at night and give coolness in a daytime. Electricity coming from solar energy is provided in each hut. Full Moroccan breakfast is served every day and is always included in the price of stay. Welcome to the desert, friends! Our neighborhood is the beautiful, wild Sahara desert. We are located right at the place where the sand dunes begin. Here you can enjoy the silence, let your eyes rest on the line of horizon and admire magnificent sunsets every day. Tajine near the fire, breakfast served in warm morning sunshine, camel rides, cous cous with our family, traditional Saharawi henna or cooking classes are just some of ideas for spending time at the camp. But this is just the beginning! Desert Camp is not only our home, but also a place where we start our DreamTeam Caravan trips deeper into the desert, and to which we return. Our experienced guides know every path here and understand desert laws. You don't need to look further if you are looking for a safe, responsible way to explore the Sahara. We organize private, tailored trips both by 4x4 and camel trekking. The area, including the kitchen, is open to everyone. Our guests have access to common spaces where we eat when it's windy (if the weather is nice we serve the food outside, in the sun or near the fire). We are happy to spend time with our guests, make the fire with music at night or visit old village M'hamid together. Since the camp is our home, we are always here to help! We are surrounded by small dunes, it is very beautiful and quiet here. Central point of the camp is a fireplace where we chill out each night before going to sleep. Since our camp is located outside M'hamid, please contact us before arriving - we will meet you in the centre of the village and lead the way to the camp. The town is well connected to major cities in Morocco. Apart of delicious Moroccan breakfast, which is included in the price of stay, we also offer full board. All dishes are Moroccan (traditional tajine, cous cous, Moroccan salad, homemade bread) and made of local ingredients.
